There are a few buildings in the Sima compound that serves as kuti for the monastic and laypersons.
Three main divisions of the kuti are as follows:
Sayalay and Laywoman
The old kuti was built in 2012. The construction of the new kuti commenced in 2015 and is currently still undergoing renovation.
Bhante & Layman’s Kuti
The old Sangha kuti was built in 2012 and has 10 rooms in total, 2 Teachers’ rooms and 8 other rooms. Currently, the building is used for Bhikkhus, Kappiya, volunteers and workers when the new kuti is fully occupied. The new kuti was built in 2014 and is often used during meditation retreat by Bhikkhus and yogis.
Sayalay & Laywoman’s Kuti
Built in 2013, this kuti has 15 rooms in total: 1 store room and 14 other rooms. This kuti is often used during meditation retreat by Bhikkhus and yogis.
